Yoga

Yoga is more than just stretches that you do on a squishy mat, there is heart and soul behind it.

 

It all begins with the breath.

As in all ancient self healing techniques long, slow, deep breathing is key to growth cleansing and longevity.

Anyone can practice yoga.

one class is 3,5€ (25kr) and goes as a donation to the yoga teacher:)

 

 

We practice Param yoga, a mix of Astanga and Hatha yoga with a mix of strengthening and flowing dynamic poses all performed with awareness and focus on the breath and the body/mind union.

 

The yoga postures or asanas exercise every part of the body, stretching and toning the muscles and joints, the spine and the entire skeletal system.

 

The asanas not only work on the body's frame but on the internal organs, glands and nerves as well, keeping all systems in radiant health.

 

Different asanas affect different areas of the body and mind. As various parts of the body open up and come under your control, there is often a corresponding "opening up" of the personality, as well as a heightened awareness and happiness.
